Being the largest production base for pyrethroids and New High Technology Enterprise in China ,Jiangsu Yangnong Chemical Co.Ltd was established in 1999, As a main pesticide exporter, Yangnong is one of the earlier certified ISO9001,ISO14001 and GB/T28001 chemical companies in China. Besides, Yangnong is the only public listed company with leading products of pyrethroids in China. In the past years, aiming at developing national pyrethroids industry, Yangnong kept up independent innovation and implemented brand strategy, actively pushing the upgrading of the agriculture industry structure in China. Now it has the multiple products structure with core of pyrethroids, leading of pesticides and supplement of fine chemicals. Two products fill vacancies in the world and more than 20 products fill vacancies in China. Yangnong is a leader in pyrethroids in China in terms of production scale and technology with qualified products conforming to international standard, also one of first pesticides companies which are honored with “China Famous Brand”.

- Yangnong's two processes were included in the "Pesticide Industry Green and Low-Carbon Process Directory" (2025 Edition).
2024
- Subsidiary Youjia Plant Protection (which has signed a green electricity trading agreement with power generation companies) has achieved a green electricity usage rate of approximately 60% to 80%. As of October 2024, its cumulative usage has reached 100 million kWh, resulting in a carbon reduction of over 80 million kilograms.
2023
- Subsidiaries Yushi Chemical and Shenyang Kechuang Chemicals were successfully listed as "Green Factory."
- Subsidiary Youjia Plant Protection was successfully named as a "Leading Green Development Enterprise" in Jiangsu Province for 2023.2022
- Yangnong has formulated and implemented the "14th Five-Year Energy Conservation and Low-Carbon Plan," actively working towards creating a green enterprise. All four of its production subsidiaries have been rated as "Green Factory".
2017
- Yangnong's subsidiary Youjia Plant Protection's production base was included in the first batch of the pesticide industry's only "Green Factory" in 2017.
